Privacy statement
This statement describes what RijTheorie processes, why, and how long we keep it.

What we process
We collect only what the platform needs to work.
- Account data: name, email address and a hashed password.
- Learning data: which questions you answered, whether they were right, how long you took.
- Preferences: language, appearance, daily goal and exam date.
- Payment data: handled by our payment provider. We never store card details.
- Technical data: a truncated IP address alongside your cookie choice.
Why we process it
Your account and progress are processed to perform our agreement with you. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent. Security logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in preventing abuse.
How long we keep it
Account and learning data are kept as long as your account exists. Delete your account and they are removed immediately. Invoices are kept for seven years because tax law requires it.
Your rights
You can access, correct, delete or take your data with you. Your settings contain buttons to download your data and to delete your account permanently. You may also complain to the Dutch data protection authority.
Processors
We use service providers for hosting, email and payments. Each has a processing agreement with us, and data stays inside the European Economic Area unless stated otherwise.
